三、三坊七巷老城区
福州的三坊七巷已有上千年的历史，留有林则徐、沈葆桢、严复、郑孝胥、陈宝琛、方伯谦、林觉民、冰心等现当代名人的故居。这里的每座宅院、每条小径都留有历史的传说，南后街则是 “三坊七巷”的中轴，也是民国前数百年来福州的主要商业街，有“正阳门外琉璃厂，衣锦坊前南后街”之说。福州的三坊七巷曾被誉为中国保护最为完整的古城区，2009年完成的“旧城改造”将其建成了旅游新区。

3. Sanfang Qixiang Old Urban Area
The Sanfang Qixiang alleys and lanes in Fuzhou have around a thousand years of history. Many modern or contemporary celebrities, such as Lin Zexu, Shen Baozhen, Yan Fu, Zheng Xiaoxu, Chen Baochen, Fang Boqian, Lin Juemin and Bing Xin, had former residences here. Every building or path here has a tale to tell. The Nanhou Street forms the axis of Sanfang Qixiang. It had been the main commercial street in the hundreds of years before the founding of the Republic of China in 1949. The Street was compared to the Liulichang a noted historical artwork quarter of Beijing. The Sanfang Qixiang in Fuzhou is regarded as China’s best-preserved old urban area The renovations completed in 2009 rendered it a new tourist attraction.
