十五、南平明翠阁
南平是闽江的发源地，为闽北交通要道。建于明代的明翠阁（左）紧贴悬崖峭壁，俯瞰闽江，堪称“闽北第一阁”。清扩建的建筑毁于文革期间，重建后的明翠阁（右）现为闽江上游的佛教圣地。依水还建有儿童游乐园。

15. Mingcui Pavilion in Nanping
Nanping is the starting place of Minjiang River. It is a thoroughfare in northern Fujian. Built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) close to steep rocks, the Mingcui Pavilion (left) overlooks the Minjiang River and is known as the "No.1 Pavilion in Northern Fujian". The pavilion rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty (1616-1911) was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976). The existing Mingcui Pavilion (right) is a Buddhist sacred land at the upper reaches of Minjiang River. A children’s amusement park has also been constructed at the riverside.
