18. The Minjiang River and Banyan Tree
Big ancient banyan trees can be found everywhere along the Mingjiang River and in other parts of Fuzhou City. The trees, with twisted branches and twigs, constitute green shields, and are full of life. The picture shows an ancient banyan tree in Jianxin Town in the southwest suburbs of Fuzhou. The tree is reflected in the clear water of the Minjiang River, presenting a picturesque view.
